Graphic Arts Teachers Technology Conference

Partnership Opportunities

The Graphic Arts Teachers Technology Conference is a volunteer effort by folks who want to help teachers develop and maintain relevant curricula in the fast-changing field of publishing and printing. Over the last three years the conference has become an important information exchange, networking event and skills development opportunity for high school and junior high school teachers. If you're interested, there are many ways you can help out.

For individuals....

If you're an expert in the field, teach a seminar at the conference, or suggest somebody who you think would be a great speaker, and maybe help us convince that person to donate some time.

If you know about resources that teachers can use, donate books, magazines, courseware and other publications, or refer us to people who have useful materials.

If you're a teacher, share your perspectives in our on-line forum, spread the word to your colleagues, come join us on Election Day.

If you have some time on Election Day, work the registration desk, organize the speakers and just generally lend a hand.

For companies...

If you're a vendor, donate samples, literature, tutorials, software and anything else that teachers can use. Demo your software or hardware, and set up site visits for teachers and student. Better yet, sponsor the lunch, the AV and mailing costs or the coffee breaks.

If you're in the publishing or printing business, mentor some classes, hire some kids in work/study programs, and join the Graphic Arts Education Advisory Commission to help out all year round.
